Overview

Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of PodPapa and all products and services we offer. By creating an account or using any PodPapa service, you agree to these terms.

Effective date: June 1, 2025

1 Who these terms apply to

These Terms & Conditions apply to anyone who accesses or uses PodPapa's website, dashboard, or any of our managed products, including Monitor, n8Automate, and any future PodPapa products.

By using PodPapa, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the authority to agree to these terms on behalf of yourself or your organization, and will comply with all applicable laws.

Short version: Use PodPapa fairly, pay your bills on time, don't abuse the platform, and your account will keep working without issue. These terms are designed to be straightforward, not to trap you.

Accounts

Your account

Your PodPapa account is personal to you. You're responsible for keeping it secure and for everything that happens under it.

1 Creating an account

To use PodPapa you must create an account with a valid email address and a secure password. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Using false or misleading information may result in account suspension.

2 Account security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must not share your password with others or allow others to access your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, notify us immediately at hello@podpapa.com.

PodPapa will never ask for your password via email or support chat.

3 One account per customer

Each account is for a single individual or organization. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits or abuse free tiers is not permitted and may result in all associated accounts being terminated.

4 Account ownership

The account belongs to the email address used to register it. In the event of a dispute over ownership, PodPapa will treat the registered email address holder as the account owner. We are not responsible for resolving ownership disputes between individuals or organizations.

Service & Availability

Service levels & availability

We take uptime seriously. Here's exactly what we commit to and what happens when things go wrong.

1 Uptime SLA

PodPapa guarantees 99.9% uptime for all live products, measured monthly. This means no more than approximately 43 minutes of unplanned downtime per month per service.

Planned maintenance windows are excluded from SLA calculations. We will notify customers at least 48 hours in advance of any scheduled maintenance that may cause service interruption.

2 SLA credits

If we fail to meet the 99.9% uptime SLA in any calendar month, you are eligible for a service credit:

Monthly uptimeCredit
99.0% – 99.9%10% of that month's subscription fee
95.0% – 99.0%25% of that month's subscription fee
Below 95.0%50% of that month's subscription fee

Credits must be requested within 30 days of the incident by emailing hello@podpapa.com. Credits are applied to future invoices and are not refundable as cash.

3 Service modifications

We may update, improve, or change features of our products at any time. We will communicate significant changes via email or in-app notice. We will not remove core functionality from a plan without offering a comparable replacement or a pro-rated refund.

Our real-time status page is always available at status.podpapa.com. Subscribe there to receive incident notifications as they happen.
Billing & Payments

Billing & payments

Straightforward pricing, no surprise charges. Here's exactly how billing works at PodPapa.

1 Subscription billing

PodPapa products are billed on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan you select. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.

Payment is processed by Stripe. We accept all major credit and debit cards. We do not store your card details — they are held securely by Stripe.

2 Pricing changes

We reserve the right to change our pricing. If we increase the price of a plan you are currently on, we will give you at least 30 days' written notice before the new price takes effect. You may cancel before the new price applies and receive a pro-rated refund for any unused period.

3 Refund policy

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. If you are unsatisfied for any reason within 7 days of your first payment, contact us at hello@podpapa.com and we will issue a full refund — no questions asked.

After 7 days, we do not offer refunds for partial months. If you cancel mid-cycle, your access continues until the end of the billing period and is not renewed.

4 Failed payments

If a payment fails, we will attempt to retry it over the following 7 days and notify you by email. If the payment remains unresolved after 7 days, your account will be suspended. Your data is retained for a further 30 days during which you can reactivate by updating your payment method. After 30 days, your instance and associated data may be permanently deleted.

If your account is suspended due to a payment failure, export your data as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee data recovery after the 30-day grace period.
Acceptable Use

Acceptable use policy

PodPapa's infrastructure is shared. We ask that all customers use the platform responsibly so it remains fast, reliable, and available for everyone.

1 Permitted use

You may use PodPapa to run legitimate business operations, development workflows, monitoring, and automation for yourself, your organization, or your clients. Use of PodPapa for client work and agency operations is explicitly permitted.

2 Prohibited use

You may not use PodPapa to:

Send unsolicited bulk email (spam) or conduct phishing campaigns
Perform unauthorized penetration testing, port scanning, or network attacks on third parties
Host, distribute, or transmit malware, viruses, or other malicious code
Mine cryptocurrency or perform computationally abusive tasks not related to the intended tool function
Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of PodPapa or third-party systems
Violate any applicable law, including data protection, intellectual property, or export control regulations
Resell or sublicense PodPapa services without written authorization
Use the platform in ways that degrade performance for other customers

3 Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations of this policy. If we determine that your use violates these terms, we may suspend or terminate your account with or without notice, depending on the severity of the violation. Illegal activity will be reported to the appropriate authorities.

Intellectual Property

Intellectual property

What belongs to us, what belongs to you, and how we handle the open-source tools at the core of our platform.

1 PodPapa's IP

The PodPapa name, logo, brand, website design, dashboard interface, and all original content we produce are owned by PodPapa and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from our branding or proprietary content without written permission.

2 Your data and content

You own all data and content you create, upload, or configure within your PodPapa-managed tools. This includes your monitoring configurations, automation workflows, and any other data stored within your instances. PodPapa does not claim any ownership over your content.

You grant PodPapa a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process your data solely for the purpose of operating and maintaining your service.

3 Open-source software

PodPapa products are built on open-source software (Uptime Kuma, n8n, Matomo, and others). These tools retain their original open-source licenses. PodPapa's managed service layer — the provisioning, infrastructure, and support — is our own proprietary offering.

You are free to export your data and self-host the same underlying open-source tools at any time. This is by design.

Limitation of Liability

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

We work hard to provide a reliable service, but there are limits to what we can guarantee. Please read this section carefully.

1 Service warranty disclaimer

PodPapa provides its services on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we commit to a 99.9% uptime SLA and take reliability seriously, we do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly suited to your specific requirements.

2 Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PodPapa's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid to PodPapa in the three months preceding the claim.

PodPapa is not liable for:

Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Loss of data, revenue, profit, or business opportunities
Damages resulting from third-party services or integrations
Issues caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including internet outages, data center incidents, or natural disasters

3 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold PodPapa harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the platform, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

Termination

Cancellation & termination

You can leave any time. We can remove accounts that violate our terms. Here's exactly how both work.

1 Cancellation by you

You may cancel your PodPapa subscription at any time from your account dashboard or by emailing hello@podpapa.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access until then. We do not charge cancellation fees.

Upon cancellation, we recommend exporting your data before your access ends. All instance data is deleted permanently within 30 days of account closure.

2 Termination by PodPapa

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

You violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
Payment remains unresolved after the grace period
We are required to do so by law or legal authority
Continuing to provide service creates legal or security risk to PodPapa or other customers

For serious violations (illegal activity, fraud, active abuse), we may terminate immediately and without notice. For all other cases, we will give you 7 days' notice and the opportunity to remedy the issue.

3 Effect of termination

Upon termination, your right to use PodPapa ends immediately. We will delete your data according to our retention schedule outlined in our Privacy Policy. Billing obligations for the current period remain in effect.

Changes to Terms

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We're transparent about when and how we do it.

1 How we notify you

If we make material changes to these Terms — changes that affect your rights or obligations — we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The updated effective date will be shown at the top of this page.

For minor changes (corrections, clarifications, formatting), we may update the page without advance notice but will always update the effective date.

2 Your options

If you disagree with updated terms, you may cancel your account before the new terms take effect and receive a pro-rated refund for any prepaid unused period. Continuing to use PodPapa after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

3 Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of PodPapa that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
